
Today on the show we are joined once again by our good friend John Vervaeke.
Most of you are likely familiar with John’s work since he’s been our most recurring guest on the podcast, but if you’re new to the show, John is a cognitive psychologist/scientist at the University of Toronto who has made it his mission to understand and remedy the meaning crisis.
On today’s episode we are going to talk about how to utilize mindfulness practices to extract insight from our physical practices and transfer those insights to other practices or other aspects of our lives.
Can the way we practice our main discipline have a deeply positive impact on how we perform in other sports or activities? Can it have the same positive impact on how we shape our character and experience a meaningful, rewarding life?
We believe the answer is a resounding yes, and we want to talk about how to actually make that happen on a regular basis.
