I have not touched on rock climbing much on the movement blog but it is one of the fundamental movement disciplines. The human body can move itself by crawling and quadrupedal movement patterns, walking, running, jumping, swimming,climbing and swinging. There are many movement disciplines which contain elements derived from climbing but not that explore climbing with the fundamental utility and at the same time complexity as rock climbing.
So your challenge today is to climb some rock.
For inspiration enjoy this video from Dan Osman, but please don’t try to climb anything quite that high at least with out a rope.
