When we talk about interactive movement the biggest two categories are combative movement and dance, but there is also cooperative partner interaction that is not focused on response to music, partner acrobatics for instance. Another great practice that is bit less acrobatic but allows beautiful movement complexity is Acroyoga. Again it ties into really basic play patterns, you’ll see parents everywhere play with their kids by holding them up on their feet while lying on their backs, early in our relationship my wife use to let me bench press her fairly regularly lots of couples probably explore similar play.
Watch this beautiful video and find a partner and play with it some of the movements.
