Today on the podcast we are joined by Scott Sievewright.
Scott is an MMA Coach in Milwaukee at Primal MKE. I met him recently on a panel for Rob Gray’s Perception and Action Podcast where we talked about applying Ecological Dynamics to coaching Mixed Martial Arts, and that’s exactly what we’re going to dive deeper into today.
It was really great to talk to someone who’s been applying the concepts and practices of ecological dynamics to their students, from beginners to combat athletes, on a daily basis. In this episode we’ll talk about the difference between an ecological approach and a more traditional approach and why we greatly prefer the former for teaching our students how to be better martial artists and general movement problem solvers.
I had a wonderful time talking with Scott, and hope to have him on the show again in the future. This is the second of three episodes that focus intently on martial arts, so if you enjoyed the conversation, be sure to leave a like, comment, and subscribe if you haven’t yet.
Your support means the world to us! Thanks a lot and enjoy the show!
