Today on the podcast we are joined by Rob Gray.
Rob is an associate professor in applied psychology at the University of Arizona State, and author of a new book called “How We Learn to Move”.
He’s one of the leading figures in understanding ecological dynamics in relation to motor control, and his Perception Action Podcast has been one of my best guides in really understanding motor learning theory.
We’ll include a link below for you to check that out, but this conversation will actually be a really great place for you to start because we’ll go through a lot of the language which can be quite difficult to understand, and break it down to provide practical examples and ways to think about them.
We also get into where potential missing pieces of ecological dynamics are and how we can think about them in other ways to fill in the gaps.
I had a wonderful time talking with Rob, and hope to have him on the show again in the future, so if you also enjoyed the conversation, be sure to leave a like, comment, and subscribe if you haven’t yet.
Your support means the world to us! Thanks a lot and enjoy the show!
